Sunday 6th April: Meet the Celts! Members
of an Iron Age tribe, the Cantiaci, are visiting Orpington! Experience the daily life of the Celts before
the Romans conquered Britain. With displays and activities for all the family. 10:30am - 1:00pm &
2:00pm - 4:30pm. £1.50 / £1.00
Tuesday 15th April: BUZZ Activities Sessions Living at the
Villa in AD200 Discover what it was like to live at the Villa 1,800 years ago! Make an art and craft
picture of the Villa and get your own Roman Villa activity booklet to take home. 10:00am & 2:00pm for
7-11year olds. £2.00 per child. Book through Bromley Museum.
Sunday 20th July Young Archaeologists
Day Join the Roman Villa Trail Investigate the Villa-house, wash and draw Roman finds, dress as
Romans, play Roman games, make mosaics. Do a Roman Villa Trail Quiz - will you get a Villa Certificate?
For 5 12 year olds (must be accompanied by an adult). Hourly sessions from 10:00am - 5:00pm. £1.00
Tuesday 12th August BUZZ ACTIVITY SESSIONS Roman Fashions at the Villa Find out what a fashionable
Roman girl, a Roman boy and a Roman Senator wore. And make a Roman outfit for yourself! At 10:00am &
2:00pm for 7-11s. £2.00 per child. Book through Bromley Museum.
